Head in a blender

Yo Yo Man, what’s up with your Blog, dude. It’s Ugly!

I had a couple of people write to me to inform me that my blog was looking really strange.  It was borked.  I borked it.  It was me who did it, trying to customize the standard Domino 8 blog template to do what I want it to do.

I've been largely successful, with the exception of the last uggums change.  I have now backed that out, and I think the little bugger is as pretty as a picture again.

Anyone who knows anything about HTML programming knows that the following is bad.

"Why that's crazy, Andy!  You've inserted a SideBar block right in front of a LeftSideBar!  What were you trying to do, ruin how the individual pages displayed through a browser or something?"

Well, that was the effect.  But much of what I do to fix virtual things that are broken are the equivalent of assigning an infinite number of monkeys to an infinite number of typewriters in an infinite time space continuum.  I optimistically believe that one of them will come up with Romeo and Juliet.

In this case, my monkey came up with, "The quality of mercy is nor grulmsdnsi fyyfsay."  Almost.  Not quite.  That monkey has been released into the wild.

PS: Special thanks to Ted Hardenburgh for informing me lately when I was motivated to fix it and to Peter von Stockel for being the first one to point it out..

As an English teacher, I highly approve of your use of the above creative title, and I look forward to more such attention-grabbing titles in the future. (Also, I just wanted to leave a comment so you could see my tech-savvy.)

Looks great, Andy! Glad I caught you when you were motivated - and that it was an easy fix.
