Head in a blender

Sessions and stuff for Admin 2010

First, many of you will be happy to know that I have spent my after 10 PM late evenings wisely and am now heading for the last chapter in Resident Evil 4 for the Wii. The people least likely to be happy about this are The View editors who are waiting for a few Admin2010 presentations from me. My wife is just happy that I'm happy and program some "relax" time into my day.

I hope you can go to this event this year.  Rob and I are quite excited to be there. It's like a big consulting love fest with all the Birds of a Feather sessions and ask the experts, and all those experts to ask too from both the Development and Administrator angles.

Here are the sessions Rob is going to be hosting:
  • Domino Administration in 8.5.1: The Whole Enchilada - 3 hour Jumpstart on Tuesday
  • Real-world advice for rolling out DAOS
  • Bulletproof your Domino infrastructure for sustainability and reliability
  • Putting a lock on Notes IDs: Implementing and Maintaining the ID Vault
  • The ins and outs of SMTP in Domino

I'll be doing:
  • All roads lead to Roam — Everything you need to know about rolling out the roaming user experience - 3 hour Jumpstart on Tuesday
  • Lotus lockdown -- Notes client security in 8.5
  • Admin aspirin — Reduce performance headaches through proper domain monitoring
  • Getting the message out: Best practices for managing and maintaining Notes mail
  • Best practices for efficient server clustering
  • Using policies to maximize your domain’s configuration and overall Notes performance

Rob and I will also host a BOF on policies.  That should be fun!  And we'll be around for beat the experts and at our Technotics booth in the showcase as well.  Please stop by and say "hello".  Or stop by and say "Help!"  That works too.

Andy, if I knew you were trying to rescue Ashley from the evil clutches of Los Illuminados, I would've pushed your deadlines back. Is that what Rob has been doing too?

Thank you for your support. Ashley has Los Plagas growing in her, as do I. I'm just pleased you've got my back.
