AdminSmackdown in Barcelona

Will you be anywhere near Barcelona in November?  You should be.  It's one of the most gorgeous cities in Europe.

From November 16th to the 18th, Barcelona will be hosting The View's Admin Europe 2011, or as I like to call it, Admin Smackdown!

This very intense little conference is just what you need if you're looking for top quality speakers doing presentations on topic that are vital to any administrator's every day activities.  It's a highly concentrated dose of info and expert advice, from people that have been working in IT and with Lotus Notes for centuries.

OK, maybe not that long.

Still, with speakers like Gabriella Davis, Susan Bulloch, Jason Dumont, and Rob Axelrod, how can you go wrong?

And me.  I'll be there too.  But maybe you'll come anyway.

The Tuesday prior to the official start of the Admin Europe conference is Jumpstart Day, with extended sessions on Domino security, Domino administration, Lotus Notes Policies, and Websphere deployment.

Then starting bright and early on Wednesday morning we split into tracks on collaboration, Notes client management, and a special track on a combination of performance, monitoring and security.  We'll be covering in depth topics dealing with DAOS, DDM, LDAP, Domino clusters, Active Directory integration, roaming user, Traveler, Sametime, Quickr, and a special session on the upcoming Lotus Notes/Domino Release 8.5.3.

And I will throw in some sessions to show you what I do to help my clients keep their servers running at optimum.

Join us in Barcelona in November.

You'll even have bunch of opportunities to access our brains directly.  It's almost like you have wireless network hookups into our craniums. So bring your network diagrams and all your domain issues with you. It's a 3 day fest of techno info and problem solving.

Interesting event but there still is no real time schedule available so I could find out which session might overlap with another interesting one. As this event is everything else but for free these information should be on hand.

The people running the conference have not finalized the schedule for the sessions. I'm sure that will happen in the next couple of weeks.

It's a shame the schedule will only be posted after the early-bird discount is gone, which was 9/23. Doesn't seem very professional, to say the least.
